Fremont Indian State Park is the site of an ancient Fremont Indian village. We have several trails, many of which feature numerous panels of rock art. Our award-winning museum features artifacts from the Fremont culture, and the Sagebrush Art Gallery offers a variety of art styles from local and Native American artists. Camping, hiking, and fishing are just a few of the activities you can enjoy at the park. You can also ride on the Paiute ATV trail, shop in our gift shop, and enjoy scenic Clear Creek Canyon.

Today the Statehouse reveals Utah pioneer culture and history, through artifacts, histories, photographs, and educational programs. Two pioneer log cabins and the 1867 Rock School House are also located on the grounds, as well as shady picnic areas.

Willow Park Zoo is home to over 100 species of birds, 12 species of mammals, and various fish and turtles. You may encounter a bald eagle on an open perch, the yap of a coyote in the afternoon, or the bugle of a bull elk on a crisp fall morning. Large rainbow trout may be seen rising to greet their breakfast or you may choose to just relax and enjoy the grass, trees, and nature. Also, over 80 species of wild birds visit the zoo, some of which nest here.

Located on an 84-acre river tract of land near the Weber River, the fort symbolizes a period of western history that was the transition from nomadic ways of the Indian tribes and trappers to the first permanent settlers in the Great Basin. Facilities at the fort include picnic areas, a canoeing pond, the replica fort including three cabins and restrooms.

Parowan's historic "Crown Jewel", the rock church stands in the center of town square. Construction of the Rock Church began in 1863 and the work was completed in 1867. The Rock Church balcony was designed after the Salt Lake City Tabernacle. Over the years, the rock church has been used as a place of worship, town council hall, school building, social hall, and a tourist camp. The Rock Church was restored in the 1940's.
